Berean Park ~ Reservoir Road
Located at the base of Illinois Mountain, this seasonal park offers a sandy beach, barbeques, pavilion, picnic tables, bathroom facilities and a concession stand. Walking and HikingTrails are currently under construction to connect Berean Park with Franny Reese Park Franny Reese State Park and the Illinois Mountain Trails. The Town of Lloyd Events Committee offers "Movies in the Park" during the summer on a big screen in front of the reservoir. Berean Park is also home to the Recreation Commission's Summer Fun Program.. Facilities are available to rent.
Berean Park Summer Schedule & Fees
Berean Park will open for swimming, weekends only, beginning Memorial Day weekend (May 25, 26, and 27, June 1 and 2, June 8 and 9) between the hours of 12 noon to 8 PM daily. Berean Park will open for the season June 15 and will close on Sunday, August 4 to complete the 2013 season.
Season Pass for Adults over 18 years of age: $20.00
Season Pass for Students between 6 and 17 years of age: $15.00
Daily Pass for each Person over 5 years of age: $2.00
Children under 5 years of age: No Charge
Proof of residency is required.
Swim Lessons: Registration will take place at Berean Park.
Swim Lessons: Registration will take place at Berean Park from 1:00 to 5:00 PM beginning Monday June 17 through Sunday June 23. Lessons will be given Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, June 24 through July 25.
Swim Lesson fee is $30.00 per child, which includes a $15.00 Season Pass for the child.
SummerFun campers may also take swimming lessons at a charge of $30.00 per camper, which includes the $15.00 Season Pass.
Water Carnival: The Annual Water Carnival will take place Saturday, July 27, 2013. Details for this event will be presented at a later date.
Tony Williams Field ~ South Riverside Road
Located just of Rt. 299 at the eastern head of the Hudson Valley Rail Trail (link to Hudson Valley Rail Trail), the Park offers picnic pavilions, basketball, tennis, baseball and softball fields, barbeques, concession stand, a playground and so much more. Tony Williams Field is home to many of the Town's Adult programs and facilities are available to rent.
Village Field ~ Hamlet of Highland
Located in the heart of the Hamlet off Main Street and Vineyard Ave, the Village Field offers a large parking area, open field space, baseball, softball and soccer fields. The Village Field is home to the town's Independence Day Celebration and offers green space for any activity you want: volleyball, Frisbee or just enjoying the sunshine. Located just steps from the many eateries in the hamlet, it's a great place for a sunny day picnic.
