Whether you decide to take advantage of the high-trafficked Route 9W corridor, or just want to open a small shop in a quieter part of town, you will be happy you chose the Town of Lloyd.

There are many state, county and town laws that must be followed when opening a new business. The time-consuming process of dealing with all these tasks can be difficult, but we’re here to help. The all-volunteer Lloyd Economic Development Committee (EDC) was formed to help new and existing business. The EDC is comprised of Lloyd business people with vast experience and expertise in a number of business-related topics.
Financing and Incentives - Revolving Loan Funds
The Town of Lloyd has a Revolving Loan Fund for new business development. They have been working with the local community for over 20 years to help with financing. If your project meets our loan criteria, we will lend you money for acquisition, start-up financing, expansion, or façade improvement.

Prior to submitting an application, interested businesses are encouraged to meet with representatives from the Town, who can explain the process in order to avoid unnecessary delays in application processing.
