Tillson Avenue/Vineyard Avenue Project Update 4-3-2024

Tillson Avenue/Vineyard Avenue Project update.

Work will be restarting on April 8, 2024.  Contractor will be closing Toc Drive on the 8th and Vineyard Avenue Closure will follow at 12:00 PM on April 9th, 2024.  The contractor anticipates the full detour to remain in place approx. 6-7 weeks with anticipation of fully opened road by the end of May. As the work commences, the items requiring Road Closure will be the priority to get completed first, other items will be completed using “flaggers” where appropriate.  

The work included under the closure includes the following:

1.      Install remaining drainage along Vineyard Avenue

2.      Raise Vineyard Avenue to Final Grade

3.      Pave Vineyard/Toc/Tillson to final grade.

4.      Site drainage improvements along Vineyard Avenue

Other remaining work such as Guiderail installation, site stabilization, remaining driveway/sidewalk work, project close-out and punchlist, etc. will be completed using flagging operations to limit the impact to the traveling public. The current schedule (attached and previously sent on February 9) shows all of the work being finalized by the end of May 2024. Weekly updates will restart on Friday, April 5, 2024.
