The one way from 9W to Vineyard Ave. still remains in place and will for some time. The east end of Smith Terrace will continue to be closed. Possible weekend access to the east end of Smith Terrace will not be available until appropriate signage becomes available. Construction was suspended for several days early in the week due to rainy and unfavorable conditions. Retaining wall construction and the lowering of storm/sewer drainage systems under the retaining walls continued. There are two big trees to be removed next week. Retaining wall construction will continue for the next few weeks. Verizon remains on Vineyard Ave. working on the moving of phone cables required for the realignment of Tillson Ave. entry onto Vineyard Ave.
