If you'd like to visit the New Paltz Landing Slave Cemetery, contact the Town Historian by phone (845-691-2144 ext 108) or email (jkelley@townoflloyd.com) and set up an appointment. The route to the cemetery is an undefined path thru the forest, wear walking shoes. The terrain can be rough. Plan accordingly for sun exposure and insects. Avoid tick bites; wear long pants tucked into socks and long sleeves.
